Austin police on July 23 responded to the 9100 block of Research Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. They said 43-year-old Sarah Christina Dabadie was in the road for an unknown reason when she was fatally hit by a vehicle.
The driver did not stop, according to a statement from police. Other drivers passing by following the crash stopped and called 911, the statement said.
