Free coronavirus testing for all Texas residents will be at Main Street Intermediate School in Taylor on Saturday and Sunday.

The testing will start at 9 a.m. at the school at 3101 North Main, Suite #102, and will continue until supplies run out, a Willamson County news release said. The testing site will be a walk-up site. No appointments are necessary.

The test will be a cheek-swab test so participants cannot eat, drink or use tobacco products 20 minutes before the test, the release said. Participants are asked to bring a cell phone for on-site registration.

The Williamson County office of emergency management, in partnership with the Texas Division of Emergency Management and the city of Taylor, will be hosting the site, the release said.

There may be a waiting time for the test due to demand. Participants are asked to bring shade items such as a hat or umbrella.
