Sunny and cool Sunday with a high near 69; rain expected mid-week

Yes, the sun has returned but its not for long as rain chance increase later into the week.

Sunday will be sunny and cool with a high near 69 and an overnight low around 45, the National Weather Service said.

A steady warmup will continue through Tuesday with highs reaching the mid 70s. Chances of rain start Wednesday and last to at least Saturday. A cold front will push through the area but is not expected to be from the Arctic region, so temperatures will only be slightly below normal with highs in the mid-60s.

Friday: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 67 and an overnight low around 50.

Saturday: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 65.
