Texas Department of Public Safety officials released this photograph of Paul Lester Allen Jr., who was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor riot for damaging a patrol vehicle during a May 30 protest.

Authorities over the weekend arrested a 14th person accused of rioting during a protest opposing police brutality in Austin.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials on Saturday arrested Paul Lester Allen Jr., 21 of Austin. Officers say Allen on May 30 intentionally damaged a marked DPS patrol vehicle while participating in a riot on the Capitol grounds.

Allen was arrested on a fugitive warrant for misdemeanor riot, officials said.

Authorities in a statement on Wednesday said numerous officers were assaulted and property was damaged during the incident.

Allen’s arrest, along with several others arrested in recent weeks, was the result of an extensive investigation by DPS special agents, the statement said.

Authorities are asking for help finding several other people who were involved in other crimes during protests in May.

The Texas Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of any of the individuals charged with a felony or up to $500 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of any individual charged with a misdemeanor.
