Man dead, 2 children injured in crash near Circuit of the Americas, EMS says

A crash in southeastern Travis County left one man dead and two children injured Sunday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Medics said the crash occurred just west of the Circuit of the Americas raceway, near the intersection of FM 812 and FM 973.

The man was said to be in his 30s, EMS said. The two children were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center.
