FORECAST: Chalk up another gorgeous spring day with sunshine, high near 76

Thursday forecast for Austin: Y'all! The good-weather streak Central Texas has experienced this week has another day, or two, left in it.

Skies will be sunny on Thursday and temperatures will reach a high near 76 degrees, the National Weather Service said. It's almost like Mother Nature knows it's spring break for Austin schools and the University of Texas.

At night, temperatures will dip to a cool low around 51 degrees, and skies will be clear, forecasters said.

The weekend will be warm with chances of rain, according to the weather service's extended forecast:

Friday: Sunny with a high near 75. Mostly cloudy at night with a 30 percent chance of rain and a low around 56.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain and a high near 70. Mostly cloudy at night with a 30 percent chance of rain and a low around 60 degrees. South-southeast wind will be blowing 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain and a high near 78. Mostly cloudy at night with a 20 percent chance of rain and a low around 62.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain and a high near 80. Clear at night with a 20 percent chance of rain and a low around 53.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 70. Mostly clear at night with a low around 51.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 74.
