Charming Charlie is the latest retailer to call it quits.

The Texas-based chain, which sells women's accessories, will close all 261 stores it operates nationwide after filing for bankruptcy for the second time in two years, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The shutdown will leave more than 3,000 employees jobless. Charming Charlie will not be providing severance pay, but will offer bonuses to workers who stay until operations completely wind down.

The last day of business for most locations will be Aug. 31, according to the Chronicle.

After its initial bankruptcy filing in 2017, the retailer closed about 100 locations. That wasn't enough, though. A bankruptcy filing says "efforts simply were not sufficient to stabilize the Debtors' businesses and ensure long-term profitability."

Other retailers that have either already closed stores this year or are planning to close stores include JCPenney, CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1 and Party City.
