High Brew Coffee is welcoming another celebrity onto their team, as Grammy award winning artist Shakira announces her investment into the Austin based company.

Along with this investment, the artist is also involved in businesses such as her own beauty line and a partnership with Fisher-Price.

Shakira's busy schedule as a performer and mom is what motivated her to try the drink, High Brew said in a press release statement. The music icon was also excited to learn that the coffee beans were sourced from her home country of Colombia.

“Every day seems busier than the last, whether I’m on tour, in the studio, or at home with my kids,” Shakira said in the company press release. "After discovering High Brew and then meeting with the founder, I knew this was a brand I aligned with. I decided to invest because the brand continues to innovate while maintaining product integrity and their values."

David Smith, founder of High Brew Coffee, said that his company was interested in working with Shakira because of her past successful business ventures.

“Knowing she was a fan of the brand, we knew we had to bring her on board," Smith said. "As a strong woman who pours her heart into all she does, Shakira is the perfect fit to help us convey our clean energy message as she continues to dominate the music industry.”

The company said the artist's experiences will help diversify their slogan of "for those who do."

Shakira now joins a list of High Brew's big name investors, including singer Halsey, former MLB pitcher Huston Street, pop rock group Kings of Leon, Lance Armstrong and chef Tim Love.

High Brew Coffee was founded in 2014 and is brewed from all-natural Arabica beans. The coffee comes in a variety of flavors such as Double Espresso, Mexican Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate Mocha, Black & Bold and Creamy Cappuccino + Protein.
