The losers in a charity volleyball game this week pitting Hutto police and firefighters against Hutto teachers and staff will face a special challenge. They have to kiss a pig, according to a city of Hutto news release.

The Orange Santa charity game to raise donations for needy Hutto families during Christmas will be at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutto High School gymnasium at 101 Chris Kelley Blvd.

Hutto police and firefighters have won the game for the past five years, the release said. Admission is a $5 donation to Orange Santa or a new, unwrapped toy. T-shirts supporting each team are also for sale. Safety pink t-shirts are for sale at the Hutto Police Department, 401 Front St.,  and the Hutto Fire Department, 501 Exchange Blvd., and a neon green t-shirt is for sale at the Hutto High School cafeteria, 101 Chris Kelley Blvd.

The haunted house that was going to be a fundraiser for Orange Santa had to be canceled. The sponsor of the volleyball game is Al Clawson Disposal Inc,

"Although the losers have to kiss a pig, there is no word on which team the pig supports," the release said.
