UPDATE: Police release names of 3 killed in Round Rock crash

12:40 p.m. Tuesday update: Three people who were killed in a crash late Sunday in Round Rock have been identified as 20-year-old Vincent Price, 58-year-old Christa Weger and 19-year-old Julie Weger.

Price’s vehicle was moving east on RM 1431 when it crossed into the westbound lanes of the road, police said.

He hit the vehicle carrying Christa and Julie Weger. A third vehicle then crashed into Price’s vehicle, police said.

3:10 p.m. Monday update: Police said all three people who died in a three-vehicle collision late Sunday on RM 1431 are Round Rock residents.

A 20-year-old man in one car and a 58-year-old woman and 19-year-old woman in another car died in the collision at about 11:25 p.m. on RM 1431 between Interstate 35 and Stone Oak Drive, police said in a statement Monday afternoon.

Four others were taken to a hospital and treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Police spokesman Nick Olivier said more information on the collision and the names of those killed will likely be released on Tuesday.

Earlier: Three people were killed and four were injured in a crash in Round Rock late Sunday, Round Rock police said.

Officers responded to RM 1431 in between Interstate 35 and Stone Oak Drive around 11:25 p.m.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. RM 1431 was closed until 5:25 a.m. while police investigated.
